Ghana Athletics is proud to officially confirm that World Athletics have ratified Baba Seidu Mamoudu outstanding performance in the 400m hurdles, clocking 49.45sec.

His achievement represents a major milestone by any Ghanaian athlete to have made that record, reinforcing the nation’s growing presence at the global track and field stage. Baba Seidu’s time of 49.45sec places him among top-performing 400m hurdlers in the world and highlights the depth of talent being developed by Ghana Athletics.
