Ghana’s Men’s 4x100m Relay Team has made the country proud by qualifying for the 2025 World Athletics Championship in Tokyo, Japan.
The team, comprising Joseph Paul Amoah, Sean Safo-Antwi, Fuseini Ibrahim, Barnabas Aggerh, and Mustapha Alufu Bokpin, secured their spot after finishing second in their heat at the World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou, China with a time of 38.32 seconds.
The team’s qualification journey started on Day One of the competition where Ghana finished third in its heat with a time of 38.49 seconds, missing out on automatic qualification.
However, the team bounced back on Day Two, delivering a brilliant performance to secure second place in their heat and seal their spot at the World Championships.
